Empowering lawyers with the tools and expertise to make estate planning better
Aside from a word processor, the process of drafting wills has not changed in 300 years.
It was this thought that drove Jordan Atin, with two decades of experience in estate law under his belt, to co-found eState Planner with Ian Hull. As well-respected leaders in estate planning, they were in the perfect position to address the pain points and challenges that lawyers faced everyday.
They recognized the process of will drafting was inefficient for both estate lawyers and their clients. There was no structured, standardized process, and this often led to the collection of inadequate information and a poor client experience. Manual drafting was very error-prone, and misunderstandings were common without any visualization of the estate plan.
Presenting a solution to a better estate planning experience for lawyers and their clients became the mission of eState Planner. Software that is able to guide lawyers through the will-making process, reducing errors, increasing efficiency, and providing a better client experience overall.
An award-winning software
eState Planner has been awarded the Best Estates, Trusts, and Wills software in 2022/2023 by Canadian legal professionals.
